After a short Summer break, BSI Racing returns to the Toyota GR Cup for rounds 7 & 8 of the series. Maddie Aust, Steven Clemons, Max Hewitt, and Jordan RickSegrini, all return to the respective liveries, vying for positive results at Virginia International Raceway.
Jordan RickSegrini will look to build off of a P6 finish at COTA in May, his best of the season thus far. Steven Clemons, finishing P8 and P9 in Austin, also knows that the podium is within grasp.
Rookie’s Max Hewitt and Maddie Aust continue to make strides in the series. Max found himself sitting P3 after practice at COTA back in May, and has earned a couple of top-10 finishes on the year.
Maddie Aust, having notched a Top Finishing Female award at Sebring, at the beginning of May, will look to add to her resume in the NO. 09 Endava machine.
The technical layout of VIR will prove a major test for the drivers of the GR86 series. The speed carried through the esses, fast corners, and the hairpin turn at “Oaktree”, make for an exciting show to catch this weekend.
“Very excited to be back in GR86 this weekend”, said team owner Shea Holbrook.
“We love the track at VIR, and we’ve put a lot of work into the cars to make sure they perform well here. We’ve brought fast cars with us, so we are excited to see what everyone does this weekend. Anyone of these driver can get on podium, but we want to push for a win, and I think we can do that here.”
Practice begins on Friday, with qualifying and racing taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
