BSI Ready for MX-5 Cup Finale at Road Atlanta

Daytona, Florida –

October 8, 2024

BSI Racing is bringing five drivers to Michelin Raceway at Road Atlanta for Rounds 13 & 14 and the season finale of the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin Tires. Jonathan Neudorf, Heather Hadley, Christian Hodneland, and Westin Workman all return for the final race of the season.

Also returning to the BSI lineup is a familiar name in the IMSA VP Sports Car Challenge, Jagger Jones. Jones, 22 years old will pilot the No. 86 FastMD, BSI Racing MX-5 on behalf of BSI driver Farhan Siddiqi, who usually drives the fan-favorite 'Chic Hicks' livery due to Hurricane Milton.

BSI looks to cap off a successful 2024 season by locking up the Rookie Points Championship for Westin Workman. Workman holds on at the top of the Rookie Championship standings after a second-place finish in race one at VIR, last month.

Workman will have the opportunity to lock up the Rookie Points championship officially this weekend, earning himself an $80,000 cash prize.

Heather Hadley returns in the no. 50 Shift Up Now! Livery looking to finish the season on a high note after narrowly missing a Top Finishing Female award at VIR last month due to contact with another driver.

“I Can’t believe this season is coming to an end”, said BSI Racing Team Owner Shea Holbrook.

“This season has just flown by so fast. I’m so proud of our drivers and our crew who busted their tails this season. We have a great opportunity to get Westin (Workman) that Rookie championship, and end our season on a really high note. I want all our drivers to go out there and do what we know they’re capable of doing, and that’s competing to win races”

Practice begins on Wednesday with races on Thursday and Friday on IMSA.tv
