Jordan RickSegrini joins BSI Racing contesting the #18 Toyota GR Cup car in the series’ inaugural season beginning in a few short weeks at the Nashville Grand Prix. Racing alongside Steven Clemons Jr., BSI Racing brings two cars to Nashville and will continue with a pair of Toyotas in the GR Cup Series for the remainder of the 2023 season.
“It is great to have Jordan join our program,” explained BSI Racing’s Shea Holbrook. “Having two cars for Nashville and moving forward through the rest of the season will double up on our chances, double up on our data, and gives both drivers to push one another to be better and faster.”
22 years of age and with two years of racing experience under his belt, Boca Raton, Florida’s Jordan RickSegrini is excited and anxious to join the BSI Racing program and get his 2023 campaign started.
“I am beyond excited to announce my introduction to Toyota GR Cup North America in partnership with BSI Racing,” explained the newly announced BSI Racing driver. “With just starting my journey into racing I feel very fortunate to have found Shea, Nick, and the whole BSI team. I am confident I’m in the right place to not only excel in GR Cup but to continue this relationship further into racing.”
RickSegrini continued, “Although I’ve missed the first couple of races of the inaugural GR Cup season, I have my head down and with the help of the team I am ready to do what it takes to be competitive at the sharp end of the field for the remainder of this season and next!”
With the much-anticipated Nashville Grand Prix event taking place August 4-6, RickSegrini will share the track with North America’s top open-wheel program, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, in the GR Cup’s debut season and their first trip to the barrier-lined road course.
Holbrook continued, “I am confident that having two drivers on a temporary circuit will be better than one. With the track evolving every session, this will be a great way to get double the information and increase our chances at scoring BSI Racing’s first career GR Cup podium result.”
