Daytona, Fl - Toyota GR Cup Rookie of the Year Westin Workman joins BSI Racing for
the 2025 season. After a successful rookie season with Copeland Motorsports that saw Workman claim multiple podium finishes, the Toyota Development Driver (TD2) makes the move to the
Daytona based race team.
Workman currently works with BSI Racing in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup, where he took
home Rookie of the Year honors in 2024 as well. Bringing the familiar face back under the BSI tent gives Shea Holbrook’s team a competitive jolt heading into the first race of the season at Sonoma Raceway.
Workman will represent Endava, the Official IT Consulting Partner for Toyota Racing
Development (TRD), for the 2025 season.
The North Carolina native will take the mantle of representing the information technology consulting company after the departure of BSI drivers Steven Clemons and Maddison Aust. Now in his second season in the series, Workman looks to capitalize off last year’s results andturn podiums into wins.
“I’m so excited to be running with BSI for the Toyota GR Cup this season,” said Workman. “I
love working with this team. We have a great relationship already, and I’m excited to get to
work. Thank you to Toyota Racing Development, Endava, and BSI. I plan on making all of you proud this season.”
BSI Racing returns to the Toyota GR Cup for the third year in a row. Both Workman and the
team know how pivotal this move is.
“We are so excited to have Westin with us on the Toyota GR side,” said team owner Shea
Holbrook. “We know what he’s capable of and have a great working relationship with him and his wonderful family. This is a big year for us, so to have him on board is huge. We know he’ll make us, Endava, and TRD (Toyota Racing Development) proud.”
Workman and BSI will begin the GR Cup season at Sonoma Raceway on March 28-30, 2025, as he begins his chase for the GR Cup title.
